📋 Description

• Oversee a portfolio of global clinical studies • Line manage Lead and Senior Lead staff dedicated to recruitment on global clinical studies • Own the recruitment process and oversee implementation and effectiveness of global recruitment strategy • Provide oversight, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced project team members • Manage staff, including interviewing, selection, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching, counseling, and separations • Approve actions related to salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations • Review and approve time records, expense reports, leave requests, and overtime • Support patient recruitment at internal, client, and bid defense meetings • Bridge strategy and operational team activities to optimize strategy execution • Act as Functional Lead for global recruitment and retention strategies • Work with local teams to understand country-level patient pathways and apply region-appropriate methods • Identify risks, develop contingency plans, and escalate issues • Serve as subject matter authority for patient recruitment and retention in client communications • Track metrics and build progress reports on enrollment targets • Lead resourcing processes and improve operational efficiencies • Consult on proposals/RFIs and attend bid defenses • Oversee global study recruitment and retention plans • Identify recruitment and retention barriers and develop risk mitigation plans • Collaborate with the Central Recruitment campaign team on strategic solutions for specific patient populations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification • Previous patient recruitment management experience, including creation and management of global trial strategies, comparable to 10 years • 5+ years leading teams or managing staff • Equivalent education, training, and/or directly related experience may be considered sufficient • Ability to plan, prioritize, and allocate resources • Experience monitoring team productivity, quality, and performance metrics • Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing teams • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Excellent client-facing and interpersonal skills • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities • Analytical ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, patient privacy laws, and ethical considerations in patient recruitment • Proficiency in project management tools and software • Ability to communicate and understand information with diverse groups • Ability to work upright and stationary for typical working hours • Ability to use and learn standard office equipment and technology • Ability to perform under pressure while prioritizing multiple projects • May require as-needed travel of 0–20% • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, including drug screening
