📋 Description

• Provide expert installation, maintenance, and repair services for sophisticated laboratory automation equipment, including robotic movers and microplate handling systems • Support dynamic scheduler software • Deliver technical support to customers across research institutions, universities, and industrial facilities • Resolve complex hardware, software, and networking issues • Conduct preventive maintenance and calibration • Train users and mentor others as appropriate • Build and maintain strong customer relationships • Respond to urgent customer needs • Complete required technical training and certifications • Travel up to 75% within the designated territory, including Virginia, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania • Work in laboratory and cleanroom environments while following safety protocols

🎯 Requirements

• Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or advanced degree in Electronics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline, with relevant technical experience • 7+ years of relevant technical experience with an Associate’s degree, 5+ years with a Bachelor’s degree, or 3+ years with an advanced degree • Complete and maintain all company-required technical training and certifications • Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating sophisticated mechanics • Expertise independently troubleshooting low-voltage electronics and complex electro-mechanical systems • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities across hardware, software, and networking issues • Proficiency reading and interpreting technical documentation, schematics, and engineering drawings • Proficient with Windows operating systems, networking, and standard business software • Professional working proficiency in English • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team • Ability to respond to urgent customer needs • Ability to follow safety protocols and work in cleanroom environments when required • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in laboratory environments • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future • Must pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 75%
