📋 Description

• Recruit, train, and license foster parents • Provide pre-service training for potential foster parents • Assess and evaluate potential foster parents based on state and agency policy • Guide potential parents through the licensing process • Submit licensing documentation to the state and required agency documents • Ensure foster parent training remains in compliance after licensing • Provide at least quarterly supervision and assessment • Maintain audit-ready files and documentation • Work with the foster care coordinator to support foster parents and maintain child placements • Conduct public speaking and marketing to recruit families • Assist in locating placements for children • Ensure safe placement of children • Provide excellent customer service response • Support families in the Gaston County area

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in social work or related field • A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience • Must have a valid Driver’s License • Must meet any credentialing, licensing and privileging standards as it pertains to the program(s) you lead • Meets criteria as a Qualified Professional in North Carolina • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite application software • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Must pass a drug screening test • Extensive background check is required • Passion for working with youth & adolescents • Ability to work typical hours of 8-5 with occasional evenings or weekends • Ability to work independently and with a team
