📋 Description

• Design, build, and improve internal systems supporting Tines's growing business • Own administration and improvement of enterprise platforms including Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, AWS, and other core IT systems • Review configurations, access, and capabilities to improve security and usability • Design, build, test, document, and maintain automated workflows and integrations • Reduce manual work and enable reliable employee self-service • Investigate complex escalations with IT Operations, identify root causes, and replace recurring issues with scalable technical or process improvements • Lead systems engineering projects from requirements gathering through rollout, monitoring, and operational handoff • Balance business needs, security, reliability, and maintenance effort • Work with Security, Internal Automation, business stakeholders, and vendors to support secure enterprise technology use and internal building in Tines • Contribute to systems, processes, and documentation supporting future Federal environment requirements • Report to the Boston-based IT Manager

🎯 Requirements

• Eight or more years of relevant IT systems engineering experience, or equivalent experience demonstrating senior-level technical ownership • Strong hands-on administration and engineering experience across multiple enterprise platforms, such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, AWS, identity providers, or endpoint management systems • Experience personally building and maintaining automated workflows, integrations, or self-service solutions, using APIs, scripting, or automation platforms • Strong troubleshooting skills, including using logs and command-line tools to investigate complex issues, identify root causes, and implement durable improvements • Sound judgment around access controls, data security, testing, change management, and rollback, with an understanding of build-versus-buy trade-offs and ongoing maintenance • Experience independently delivering technical projects, managing competing priorities, and communicating clearly with engineers, operational teams, and business stakeholders • Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship is unavailable • Experience with Tines, GCP, regulated environments, CMMC, FedRAMP, Microsoft 365 GCC High, secure enterprise AI adoption, or compliance documentation is helpful but not required
