📋 Description

• Travel to customer sites to install, fix, repair, and maintain machine tool equipment and controls • Use online technical documents, manuals, and vendor resources to research machine issues • Complete and submit accurate documentation to the office and customers regarding machine issues, repairs, and installations • Promote and perform preventative maintenance on customer machine tool equipment • Conduct after-sales technical support and training • Maintain in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and company-represented product lines • Perform related duties as required • Report directly to the Service Manager • Dispatch daily from home to customer sites throughout a regional territory

🎯 Requirements

• Demonstrated ability in mechanical/electrical repair or engineering desired • CNC Repair background a plus • Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics is required • Software experience, like Microsoft Office, is a plus • Must use a laptop, smartphone, and various software applications • Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills are required • Ability to regularly lift 40–50 pounds • Flexible hours and frequent travel and driving throughout a regional territory • Must be highly mobile and able to access all areas of premises • Ability to concentrate and remain focused while prioritizing multiple tasks, responsibilities, and projects • Ability to sit for prolonged periods • Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, and lift moderate to heavyweight material up to 50 lbs. with assistance from equipment or other employees • Ability to frequently use hands and arms • Vision abilities including close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment • Ability to work responsibly and professionally in dynamic job sites with tight timelines, changing priorities, and customer/team interaction • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and reach for extended periods while servicing equipment • Ability to work in tight spaces or awkward positions, including accessing equipment interiors and elevated areas • Strong hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic work • Ability to work in industrial environments with exposure to noise, lubricants, coolants, metal chips, and other manufacturing conditions while wearing required PPE
