📋 Description

• Shape Toptal’s product and platform vision and drive execution • Report to the Chief Executive Officer and serve on the executive team • Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Finance, Marketing, New Businesses, Professional Services, and Customer leaders • Own Toptal’s AI product strategy across the marketplace, talent and client experiences, internal systems, and go-to-market products • Decide AI build-versus-buy strategy, model and tooling choices, and packaging and pricing of AI-enabled products • Establish AI evaluations, acceptance bars, and review loops with Engineering • Rebuild Product workflows using AI-assisted discovery, research, prototyping, and analysis • Own the vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap for the full product portfolio • Establish the product operating model, planning cadence, prioritization framework, and metrics • Own integration of acquisitions and new products • Act as a senior voice of the customer for talent and clients • Define product team structure, resourcing, workforce planning, and hiring standards • Review product work directly, develop people, and raise organizational standards • Assess Product organization capability and AI maturity • Present product strategy, resourcing plans, investment priorities, and deprioritization recommendations to the executive team • Launch and measure AI-enabled capabilities in production • Demonstrate business impact from AI-enabled products across core product surfaces • Build and lead an exceptional, advanced AI-native product organization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems • At least 15 years of proven software Product Management experience • At least 8 years of experience leading Product organizations, including managing other product leaders • Proven ability to raise the level of a product organization through hiring and development • Proven ownership of resourcing and workforce planning, with a quantifiable hiring track record • Experience owning an entire product portfolio at a high-growth technology company • Demonstrated success setting executive-level product strategy and translating it into multi-team roadmaps • Experience leading AI-enabled products with measurable business outcomes • Deep hands-on command of agentic architectures, harness and orchestration design, retrieval, context engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, and production model economics • Proven experience shipping modern AI product capabilities • Growth marketing fluency across acquisition, activation, conversion, and retention • Experience with marketplace, platform, or two-sided business models is a strong plus • Prior Software Engineering experience is a strong plus • Comfortable using SQL or spreadsheets for data analysis and conducting user research • Ability to craft data-driven, user-centric solutions • High quality bar for user stories, technical approaches, and feature testing • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills • Experience with agile development methodologies and globally distributed teams • Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly growing company and manage varied challenges and deadlines • World-class individual contributor mindset • Regularly and reliably attend scheduled virtual meetings on camera • Work independently with minimal supervision • Use required digital collaboration tools • Prioritize and self-manage workflows and deadlines • Resumes and communication must be submitted in English
