📋 Description

• Build the engineering team and product • Work hands-on in the code and grow the people around you • Shape the team's roadmap with Product and Design counterparts, including the what, why, and how • Understand the trucking domain and users deeply • Ship small, fast, high-quality features and learn quickly • Pair frequently and use high-bandwidth communication to share context and make decisions • Determine what needs doing and execute it • Bring discussions to decisions and close the loop • Speak directly with dispatchers and back-office staff to understand product problems and fix them

🎯 Requirements

• Familiarity with both Ruby on Rails and React • Experience working in a remote-first environment • 2+ years of direct management experience • Ability and desire to build fast and ship features on a daily / weekly basis • Strong communication skills • Ability to take direction and feedback from senior team members • Strong desire to learn about the trucking industry, meet with customers, learn about their businesses and workflows • Empathy for users and teammates • Permanent US work authorization • Based in the United States
