📋 Description

• Process full-cycle payroll for exempt employees, corrections, commissions, bonuses, and final paychecks • Reconcile payroll records for each pay period and resolve discrepancies • Respond to employee and management inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, taxes, and employment verifications • Maintain accurate payroll records and audit employee data for wage-law and tax-regulation compliance • Process payments and deductions, including garnishments, levies, and benefits • Prepare and distribute weekly, monthly, and year-to-date payroll reports • Support internal and external audits with payroll documentation and analysis • Document workflows and standard procedures; identify and implement process improvements • Assist with payroll-related implementations, system upgrades, and automation initiatives • Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other departments to ensure data accuracy and alignment • Serve as backup for commissions administration • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma required (college degree preferred) • 3-5 years of related work experience • Understanding of Payroll business processes and commissions • Experience with UKG (UltiPro) payroll software required • Solid understanding of payroll, final pay and multi jurisdiction taxation laws • Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, Power Query, xlookup, sumifs) • Experience with payroll integrations, data mapping, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) • Ability to troubleshoot complex payroll system issues and recommend solutions • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills • Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities • Excellent customer service skills • Ability to work well in a team environment • Occasional lifting/moving of items up to 25 pounds • Hearing and speech communication in person and over the telephone • Vision abilities to read printed materials and computer screens
