📋 Description

• Manage, inspect, evaluate, negotiate, and settle first-party property claims • Perform in-person inspections at customers’ residences and properties • Review, investigate, and document property claims under limited supervision • Gather information from policyholders, claimants, and third-party vendors • Analyze leases, contracts, by-laws, and other relevant documents • Determine and apply coverage for property damages according to policy terms • Establish the scope of building and contents losses • Prepare written and computer-assisted estimates with management guidance • Communicate professionally with customers, representatives, vendors, and internal stakeholders • Negotiate with contractors and insured representatives • Maintain accurate claim activity records in claim management systems • Adapt to technology implementations, system upgrades, and AI-related digital tools • Assess and inspect dwellings and structures, including roofs, attics, and crawl spaces • Travel to support customers across multiple locations • Perform other assigned duties

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree • Two years of property claim experience • Active adjuster license, where applicable • Proficiency in claims management and estimating software • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and enterprise technology systems and platforms • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Sound judgment and effective decision-making ability • Exceptional customer service skills • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills • Conflict resolution skills • Ability to manage stress and maintain professionalism under pressure • Basic understanding of insurance principles, terminology, state insurance regulations, and claim handling requirements • High School Diploma or GED required • One year of property or comparable claim-related experience or successful completion of the required Travelers Claim Representative training program • Valid driver's license • Ability to acquire and maintain relevant Insurance License(s) and/or UAS Remote Pilot Certification within three months of starting • Ability to inspect confined areas and carry, set up, and climb ladders weighing approximately 38–49 pounds • Ability to travel extensively, including overnight stays
