• Call on prescribers representing Filspari, a first-in-class treatment for rare kidney disease • Position Travere Therapeutics as a leader in the nephrology space and maximize territory sales • Partner with customers by supporting diagnosis and management of patients with rare kidney disease • Manage all business-related activities within the geographic responsibility, including sales goals, business planning and expense control • Call on nephrology healthcare professionals in targeted institutions and offices • Engage providers managing rare kidney disease patients and educate them about Travere therapies • Compliantly assist with therapy access, including testing procedures, site-of-care determination and reimbursement-process education • Provide educational support to an underserved patient community • Plan, analyze and interpret sales data to identify and address business opportunities • Travel domestically overnight up to 30% and perform face-to-face work with colleagues and healthcare-facility/customer-site contacts
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline required; life sciences or clinical background preferred • Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered • Minimum of 8 years of relevant pharmaceutical/biotech sales experience required • 5+ years of relevant work experience calling on prescribers of specialized, high-value products • Consistent track record of sales success with quantifiable/documented sales accomplishments and awards • Experience in rare disease or highly specialized products preferred • Prior experience calling on academic institutions preferred • Previous start-up experience desirable • Nephrology experience preferred • Experience with products in specialty pharmacy distribution • Ability to plan, analyze and interpret sales data • Proficiency with a Sales Force Automation application and basic business software • Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage shifting responsibilities in a dynamic, cross-functional environment • Excellent collaboration skills and attention to detail • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Reliable and appropriate personal vehicle meeting company requirements • Background check including Motor Vehicle Record required • Ability to travel up to 30% domestically overnight required • Must live in the assigned territory or immediate adjacency • Ability to perform face-to-face work with colleagues and/or onsite in San Diego • Must satisfactorily meet ongoing credentialling requirements for access to healthcare facilities and customer sites
