📋 Description

• Originate mortgage loans in an assigned Non-Bank territory • Take loan applications • Conduct preliminary underwriting reviews • Submit loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval • Follow up to ensure documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured promptly from appropriate sources • Make and solicit loan sales • Conduct sales-related activities away from U.S. Bank locations • Spend at least 50% of work time conducting activities away from U.S. Bank locations

🎯 Requirements

• National Mortgage Licensing Service (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z, with ongoing compliance with all legal or regulatory registration requirements • Maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record • High school degree or equivalent • Two or more years of Mortgage, Sales, or Real Estate experience • Excellent sales ability and ability to work independently • Established referral base within assigned market • Thorough knowledge of pricing and underwriting requirements of various mortgage insurance companies • Working knowledge of underwriting requirements for FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, local bonding programs, and private investors • Familiarity with local, state, and national laws, including zoning ordinances, Truth-in-Lending, RESPA, and energy audit requirements • Excellent communication skills • Ability to analyze financial information • Sales-oriented
