📋 Description

• Own and drive the near-term execution and technical strategy for the team • Lead a new team delivering Unity platform support for a key platform partner bringing games to TV and mobile form factors • Deliver stable platform support across Linux cloud streaming, Web builds, native iOS, and Android • Realize developer workflows for Unity users to unlock unique platform features • Lead optimization initiatives to make Unity efficient across a wide range of target devices • Collaborate internally with core Unity engineering and graphics teams • Communicate the team’s vision and progress internally and externally • Attract, develop, and retain engineering talent at all levels • Foster a high-performance, supportive culture through mentoring, coaching, and professional development guidance

🎯 Requirements

• Experience developing and managing a high-performance software engineering team • Proven technical knowledge of desktop, mobile, and web platform technology stacks using platform APIs to build native applications • Demonstrated success collaborating with internal Product owners and external partners on technical specifications and interdependencies • Expertise as a software engineer • Working familiarity with C++, C#, and JavaScript • Ability to assimilate and understand a large and complex software product • English proficiency sufficient for frequent professional verbal and written communication • Optional: Familiarity with real-time 3D rendering techniques and graphics APIs including Vulkan and/or WebGPU • Optional: A methodical approach to prioritizing and developing innovative optimization solutions • Optional: Passion for computer games or real-time 3D experiences • Optional: Expertise leading remote teams using Agile development methodologies • Optional: Familiarity with using AI in software development
