📋 Description

• Own full-cycle hiring across strategy, engineering, and operations, including sourcing, screening, structured assessments, panels, references, and offers. • Run realistic working sessions, take-home scenarios, and calibrated scoring processes. • Maintain hiring processes resistant to inflated claims, coordinated application fraud, and AI-generated noise. • Build talent pipelines ahead of hiring needs. • Run onboarding and offboarding end-to-end. • Manage employee administration and questions, including contracts, policies, PTO, payroll and benefits coordination, and compliance across a distributed, multi-country team. • Shape and run performance management, benefits, and compensation policies. • Serve as the first point of contact for people-related matters and escalate when needed. • Own internal information flow, including company updates, leadership announcements, project wins, and team rituals. • Translate leadership decisions into clear internal communications. • Shape culture through recognition, feedback loops, team events, and everyday practices. • Use AI tools daily, work autonomously, make decisions, push back constructively, and continuously improve owned processes. • Work directly with founders and the leadership team with autonomy over the People function.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years (or equivalent skill level) across people operations, talent acquisition, or HR generalist roles, ideally in consulting, agency, or fast-moving tech environments. • Full-cycle recruiting experience for senior and specialized roles; ability to assess talent, not just schedule interviews. • Experience supporting teams across US and European employment contexts. • U.S.-based strongly preferred. • Strong operational instincts; experience designing and implementing people processes from scratch. • Ability to keep sensitive information confidential. • Fluency with modern AI tools in daily work. • Curiosity about how generative AI reshapes the People function. • Comfort with ambiguity and distributed teams across time zones. • Ability to set expectations clearly and follow through. • Good judgment and discretion when handling sensitive compensation, performance, and hiring matters.
