The company supplies grooved couplings, fittings, valves, hydronic balancing systems, and related services (engineering support, training, software content) to contractors, engineers, and industrial clients across commercial, residential, mission-critical, energy, and oil & gas markets.

📋 Description

• Support development, testing, documentation, and ongoing improvement of Victaulic software applications • Write and maintain program development documentation and revision documentation • Partner with IT Quality Assurance to follow standards and modify, test, and correct existing programs • Provide technical support to internal and external customers and partners • Analyze software requirements and determine design feasibility and technical requirements • Collaborate with supervisors and business stakeholders to clarify program intent, data inputs, outputs, checks, and controls • Assist with maintainable application development processes, source code management, automated builds, and documentation • Develop, support, and optimize database design and replication across multiple database platforms • Create structured development plans and submit them for approval • Maintain familiarity with piping software to support compatibility with user workflows • Participate in design and code reviews • Evaluate and address application performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility issues • Support customers, vendors, sales teams, and coworkers • Research hardware and software developments and share findings with the manager • Deliver presentations on application usage, tips, custom features, and assigned topics • Support other Virtual Design and Construction and Development team personnel as needed

🎯 Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a technical school program or associate degree in Computer Science, Programming, or a related field • At least one year of software development experience using web technologies • Experience developing software in a Windows environment • Basic knowledge of networking and security concepts • Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, email, web-enabled applications, and database software • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills • Ability to interpret technical questions • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adjust priorities with direction and feedback • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills • Ability to collaborate with sales, clients, internal application developers, IT teams, and external partners • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, with less than 5% travel expected • Currently authorized to work in the applicable country on a full-time basis without employer-sponsored immigration support now or in the future • Knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM), construction, piping, specifications, estimating, drafting, or fabrication is an advantage • Experience with mechanical 3D piping and design software, from drafting through fabrication, is an advantage
