• Serve as a trusted Business Partner to the Director of Academic Affairs • Strengthen and manage relationships with Vituity Residency and Fellowship Programs • Develop and implement initiatives, processes, and policies supporting operational effectiveness and continuous improvement • Serve as primary operational contact for residency and fellowship programs regarding ACGME standards, compliance, financial processes, operations, and culture-building • Support Program Directors with operational needs, accreditation readiness, program visits, and Core Faculty development • Lead initiatives for new academic programs, including onboarding, infrastructure creation, and launch activities • Partner with cross-functional teams on program setup, system integration, operational alignment, and maintenance of academic program information • Potentially supervise team members and manage day-to-day people operations as Academic Affairs grows • Resolve operational issues and recommend process improvements independently • Track and report academic program metrics, including satisfaction, growth, accreditation status, and operational KPIs • Develop dashboards and regular reports for leadership decision-making • Analyze program data for strategic planning, resource allocation, and continuous quality improvement • Serve as Academic Affairs SME in business development discussions • Partner with clinical leaders to design, launch, and support GME-approved fellowships and training programs • Align academic program operations with strategic business objectives • Present to hospital leadership, C-suite executives, and GME committees • Evaluate partnership viability and provide recommendations influencing renewals, expansions, and new program development • Represent Academic Affairs in high-stakes hospital partner conversations • Partner with Marketing and operational leaders to promote academic programs and educational excellence • Collaborate with recruiting, sourcing, operations, and academic recruitment teams on physician pipeline and recruitment initiatives • Perform related duties as required
• 0-2 years of experience working with physician residency programs and/or fellowship programs required • Experience working in a hospital system with understanding of basic hospital operations required • Experience in a client facing role required • Experience working in higher education preferred • Proficient with applicant tracking systems and Salesforce preferred • Bachelor’s Degree preferred • Experience managing executive-level relationships with hospital leadership and C-suite stakeholders preferred • Background in contract development, partnership management, or business development in a healthcare setting preferred • Excellent verbal and written communication for formal presentations • Outstanding listening skills with an open mind and decisive intuition • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook) • Ability to establish close collaboration and cooperation with peers, direct manager, hiring managers, and senior leadership • High energy personality with a can-do spirit • Result-oriented self-starter able to work independently • Solid presentation skills and ability to leverage data to influence decision making • Executive presence and ability to represent the organization credibly with hospital C-suite and senior academic leaders • Strong business acumen with ability to evaluate partnership opportunities and influence contract decisions • Proven stakeholder management skills at the executive level across complex, multi-site healthcare environments
