📋 Description

• Provide comprehensive administrative, architectural, and engineering support for VSolvit’s Atlassian ecosystem supporting the Navy Continuous Training Environment Work Management Infrastructure • Identify and document reporting, permissions, and access requirements across Jira, JSM, and Confluence • Define issue types, issue hierarchies, and Confluence space structures • Map workflow requirements, including escalation paths, approvals, and transition states • Optimize and enhance the NCTE JSM Help Center and associated project portals • Redesign portal look, feel, and layout for usability and organizational alignment • Refine user access controls and portal functions • Configure projects, spaces, and workflows according to documented requirements • Evaluate, implement, and maintain third-party plugins and add-ons • Document system configurations and architectural decisions • Architect, build, and maintain integrations between Atlassian tools and PowerBI • Design and implement GenAI integrations, including automated ticket triaging, virtual agent responses, knowledge base drafts, and work summarization • Create custom integrations for Elastic/Elasticsearch • Implement performance, UI, and capability enhancements • Provide technical guidance and SME support • Plan and execute Atlassian IL5 Cloud migration • Coordinate testing, solutions, training, and sustainment with teams and stakeholders • Adhere to working hours, deadlines, company policies, supervisor communications, and assigned tasks

🎯 Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship Required • High School Diploma or equivalent • Security+ or equivalent certification • Ability to get and maintain a secret clearance • 4+ years experience as a system administrator of Atlassian products • Advanced knowledge of Windows (Server and Workstation) and AWS systems administration • Experience with PowerBI integration • Proficient with AI use • Proficient with Script Runner • Proficient with Groovy Script • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Strong organizational and planning skills • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills • Good interpersonal skills to interface with internal and external customers and vendors • Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment • Ability to accept oversight and instruction from mentors and team lead • Preferred: College level degree • Preferred: 8+ years experience as System Administrator of Atlassian products • Preferred: Experience working with the military and/or government • Preferred: Proficient with PowerBI
