• Work closely with marketing to ensure accurate presentation and tracking, and maintain and adjust pitch decks and related presentations • Differentiate Wealth Enhancement Group’s offerings and value proposition to drive revenue • Acquire and close clients and increase assets under management • Educate clients on planning and investment topics through one-on-one and group presentations • Use WEG’s planning structure and model to close mid- and high-net-worth cases • Support financial advisory teams in growing the local presence while maintaining client service and retention standards • Proactively contact and qualify high-net-worth prospective clients introduced through direct marketing channels • Meet high-net-worth investors to understand their financial situations and needs and introduce the value of working with a WEG Advisory team • Assist in creating, delivering, executing, and managing complex financial plans and investment recommendations • Partner with financial advisory teams to ensure ongoing client service after close and transition
• 7+ years of business development or sales experience in investment management and/or financial advisory industry • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage client relationships • Experience working with custodians such as Schwab, Fidelity or Scottrade preferred • 4-year degree in business, finance, marketing or related field • Strong financial advisory and wealth management acumen and experience • Track record of obtaining referrals from own network and converting referrals to new business • Experienced consultative sales skills to determine needs, offer solutions, and ask for actions and next steps • Demonstrated strategic planning and selling experience • Willingness to independently travel regularly in assigned market, up to 50% • Experience using CRM systems; Salesforce preferred • Excellent communication, presentation, listening, and analytical skills • Proven time management and organizational skills in high-volume, high-energy environments • FINRA Series 65 or 66 required • CFP designation preferred • Ability to stand or sit for long periods, file documents in high or low cabinets, use the telephone, and use computer systems
