📋 Description

• Collaborate with stakeholders, Product Managers, and customers to understand customer challenges • Measure, inspect, and drive decisions using data • Design, test, code, and instrument new software solutions • Strengthen engineering processes using Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, microservice architecture, and vertical slice architecture • Support live applications through proactive monitoring, rapid incident response, and continuous improvement • Analyze systems and processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities • Mentor and learn from peers and foster continuous learning • Become a subject matter expert in the functional area and applicable best practices • Apply creative problem-solving techniques to resolve issues and recommend approaches • Independently complete work and proactively review it with others • Take ownership of work and contribute with minimal supervision

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or demonstrable equivalent experience • At least 5 years of experience in software engineering • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Strong proficiency in Angular and/or React • Experience building and consuming REST APIs • Track record of writing comprehensive unit tests and test suites • Strong understanding of software security principles and OWASP guidelines • Proficiency with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines • Experience with Agile development methodologies • Track record of delivering complex projects on schedule • Experience writing performant stored procedures and functions • Experience developing cloud-native applications and services • Technology must-haves: C#, Python (if applicable), Docker, modern RDBMS such as MS SQL, Postgres, or MySQL, ASP.NET, RESTful API design, Kafka/event-driven design, and modern web UI frameworks/libraries such as Angular or React • Technology nice-to-have or dedicated to learning quickly: Kubernetes, Helm/ArgoCD, Terraform, GitHub Actions, NoSQL databases, GraphQL, and Azure • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship or visa transfer, now or in the future • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Dallas, Chicago, New York City, San Francisco Bay Area, or Seattle
