📋 Description

• Provide strategic leadership for enterprise-wide logistics optimization initiatives • Develop and execute optimization strategies across routing, workforce management, training, coaching, automation, analytics, and process improvement • Partner with Operations, Logistics, Sales, Customer Experience, Digital, Fleet, and Corporate leadership teams • Identify opportunities, deploy innovative solutions, and drive measurable business results • Oversee development of future-state capabilities supporting automation, standardization, and scalable growth • Evaluate emerging trends, technologies, and best practices for future capability development • Oversee identification, prioritization, and implementation of process improvements • Lead initiatives focused on routing optimization, workforce management, scheduling, productivity, service performance, and operational efficiency • Establish governance structures, performance metrics, and reporting frameworks • Establish ownership models, accountability structures, and performance expectations across logistics functions • Lead development of discipline-based management strategies within WM Logistics • Develop scalable operating models, organizational structures, and support models • Leverage operational data, analytics, workforce management tools, and business intelligence reporting • Lead Logistics Optimization leaders and teams responsible for workforce management, coaching, training, business solutions, analytics, and optimization programs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree (accredited), or High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and four years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree • 10+ years of relevant dispatch, logistics, or collections experience • 5 years of supervisory or management experience • Ability to evaluate logistics trends, technologies, and best practices • Knowledge of routing optimization, workforce management, scheduling, productivity, service performance, and operational efficiency • Experience with operational data, analytics, workforce management tools, and business intelligence reporting • Ability to establish governance structures, performance metrics, reporting frameworks, ownership models, and accountability structures • Ability to develop scalable operating models and future-state organizational structures • Ability to lead teams responsible for workforce management, coaching, training, business solutions, analytics, and optimization programs • REAL ID or TSA-approved alternative, or willingness to obtain one, if required for business air travel or federal property access
