📋 Description

• Establish and maintain client relationships to procure and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and delivery • Lead projects involving technical advice, planning, design, permitting, and occasional construction phase services • Interact with clients, potential clients, owners, regulators, and regulatory agencies • Support business development through proposals, project interviews, and marketing activities • Manage and supervise projects using technical and administrative staff • Lead and complete technical project tasks • Develop permit applications, regulatory reviews, compliance plans, Tier II reports, and related documentation • Select, coordinate, and manage subcontractors • Perform cost estimating and manage project scope, schedule, and budget • Prepare reports and interact with project staff, clients, and regulatory agencies • Participate in delivery system improvement programs and continuous learning opportunities

🎯 Requirements

• 7 to 10+ years of professional experience with an environmental/engineering consulting firm • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or environmental engineering from an accredited program • Experience working with railroad clients • Strong commitment to safe work practices is mandatory • Client-focused with an entrepreneurial spirit • Experience scoping, budgeting, and implementing complex permitting and compliance programs • Familiarity with railroad regulatory programs across northeastern and midwestern states • Ability to work independently and on large multidisciplinary teams • Outstanding written and verbal skills • Demonstrated leadership and ability to mentor and develop a project team • OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour and Railway Worker training a plus • Travel up to 25%, primarily local travel • Employment eligibility verification required for newly hired employees
