📋 Description

• Support quoting, data organization, and technical documentation for complex customer programs, including BOMs, RFQs, and specification reviews • Assist with internal cost-modeling and quoting-tool development • Assist with supplier communication and track quality documents throughout the solution lifecycle from award through delivery • Participate in cross-functional meetings connecting engineering, sales, and operations • Lead a capstone mini-project to improve process efficiency, such as automating a quoting workflow, developing a reporting dashboard, or streamlining documentation • Develop and demonstrate DFx best practices across manufacturing disciplines

🎯 Requirements

• Completed Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field • Approximately 3-5 years of experience in an engineering/manufacturing role, including internships or co-ops • Foundational knowledge of CNC Machining, Additive Manufacturing, Wire harness Assembly, Sheet Metal and Welding • Experience in CAD software; SolidWorks preferred • Experience or coursework interpreting Manufacturing Drawings and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail managing multi-line data, such as Excel, Google Sheets, or ERP/CRM systems • Effective communication and team collaboration skills • Comfortable in technical discussions and presenting information to small groups • Ability to manage assignments with minimal oversight • Interest in learning the custom manufacturing industry
