📋 Description

• Partner across Yelp’s business units to use analytically driven insights for strategic business decisions • Provide hands-on Excel-based analytic support using SQL, Salesforce, Python, Google Analytics, Tableau, and other tools as necessary • Identify actionable insights and recommend business improvements • Influence the direction of Yelp’s business by communicating results to cross-functional groups • Create Tableau dashboards providing visibility into KPIs, marketing effectiveness, and business trends/drivers • Support initiatives involving sales incentive compensation, product and pricing pilots, customer acquisition, user contribution, and product prioritization

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, ideally in Business, Math, Economics, or a related field • 2+ years of relevant business experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches • Exposure to a variety of business models and functions • Exceptional Excel modeling skills • Experience with SQL is a plus • Exceptional problem-solving ability, transitioning between detailed data and high-level insights • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to collaborate across teams • Ability to work efficiently with executive management and front-line employees
