📋 Description

• Own end-to-end US payroll processing for 500+ US employees • Manage payroll inputs and changes including new hires, terminations, compensation changes, bonuses, deductions, and leaves • Identify and resolve payroll discrepancies • Serve as primary payroll subject matter expert and resolve employee questions • Partner with ADP and internal stakeholders on payroll, tax, and deduction issues • Manage multi-state payroll and tax requirements, including New York's Convenience of the Employer rule and related withholding • Own payroll and invoicing-related benefits administration • Manage employee deduction changes and qualifying life events • Review and reconcile benefits invoices and self-funded plan activity • Validate employee eligibility, enrollment, payroll deductions, and plan fees • Partner with Accounting on discrepancies and financial reconciliations • Support month-end, year-end, W-2 preparation, open enrollment, benefits renewals, audits, and recurring processes • Maintain documentation and controls • Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, and scale payroll and benefits processes • Partner with Finance, People Ops, ADP, and benefits partners

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on payroll and benefits administration experience • Direct responsibility for running payroll through ADP Workforce Now for a US workforce of at least 500 employees • Experience managing multi-state payroll • Experience reconciling benefits invoices • Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll and tax requirements • Hands-on experience with benefits administration and invoice reconciliation • Ability to identify discrepancies across payroll, HRIS, carrier, and vendor data • High proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets • Comfort working with large datasets, reconciliations, audits, and reporting • Strong attention to detail and ownership of deadline-driven work • Clear, empathetic communication skills and sound judgment • Self-insured benefits plans experience and New York's Convenience of the Employer rule strongly preferred • East Coast work hours
