📋 Description

• Serve as the dedicated finance partner for Zapier's marketing organization • Own marketing FP&A end to end, including headcount planning, budget building, and actuals tracking • Own channel allocation analysis for demand generation versus brand and drive ROI-by-channel reporting • Forecast sales pipeline based on spend as part of GTM targets and ARR modeling • Flag risks to pipeline coverage or targets early • Serve as an embedded business partner to marketing leadership • Track purchase orders and vendor commitments against budget and flag overspend risks • Analyze connections between marketing spend, pipeline generation, and closed-won revenue with Sales and RevOps • Partner with the Data team to establish and govern pipeline reporting definitions • Use AI to automate recurring finance processes, including parts of month-end close and reforecasting cycles • Report to the Head of GTM Finance and collaborate with Marketing, Sales FP&A, and Corporate FP&A

🎯 Requirements

• Strong investment banking background with exposure to GTM motions, or 8+ years of experience in marketing FP&A or GTM finance • Solid understanding of how sales pipeline converts to closed-won revenue • Experience owning budgets end to end, including headcount, spend actuals, and purchase orders • Strong grasp of channel-level marketing economics, cost per pipe, and connecting spend to pipeline and revenue outcomes • Ability to structure loosely defined problems independently • Proactive judgment in surfacing issues and opportunities • Active use of AI tools with sound judgment • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience with Google Sheets, Databricks or Snowflake, NetSuite, Zip, and HubSpot preferred • Must be authorized to work from the candidate's home location; Zapier does not sponsor visas or transfers
