📋 Description

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, service, and calibrate high-tech machines at customer locations • Interact with customers and cross-functional service groups supporting and launching ZEISS products • Support process enhancements focused on installation and servicing of custom equipment • Assist the R&D team with engineering work related to design, build, and new system testing • Support production systems during assembly and setup stages • Complete administrative paperwork accurately • Work independently in a high-pressure, fast-paced, innovative environment • Travel 90–100% within the service area, including international travel as needed • Perform other duties as required

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum high school graduate, completed GED, or equivalent • Technical school, associate, or bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Electronics or Industrial Mechanics is an alternative • Training and experience from a Military Technical School is an alternative • Prior experience working with hand tools and basic electrical test equipment • Microsoft operating system knowledge • Ability to lift one article weighing up to 75 pounds unassisted • Able and willing to work a minimum of 50 hours per work week • Ability to work in an industrial production shop floor environment • Valid driver's license required • Excellent communication and customer service aptitude • Previous experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electronics, machines, or computer systems is preferred • Previous CMM installation and troubleshooting experience is preferred but not required
