📋 Description

• Lead the GTM Store and ZoomInfo Data Platform teams within Platform Engineering • Own strategy, architecture, and roadmaps for the BigTable operational data store and BigQuery analytical data platform • Lead and develop senior engineers and tech leads • Set priorities across scaling, data onboarding, compliance, security, and reliability • Drive scaling, performance, latency, cost-efficiency, availability, monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and incident response • Own change data capture strategy, tooling, data consistency, ordering guarantees, and fault tolerance • Own data ingestion pipelines and accelerate onboarding of new data sources • Manage customer data deletion systems and processes for GDPR, CCPA, and related regulations • Build observability and auditability into deletion workflows • Partner with Product, Legal/Compliance, downstream engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders • Serve as a trusted partner to the VP of Software Engineering • Drive documentation and tooling enablement programs for internal teams • Represent the platforms in strategic planning and company-wide technology decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience in software/platform engineering or data engineering, with experience operating at a senior leadership level • Experience directly managing senior technical talent, including staff engineers, tech leads, or senior individual contributors • Strong working knowledge of large-scale operational and analytical data stores and distributed systems • Experience scaling data infrastructure to handle high volume and throughput • Experience with data ingestion pipeline architecture and change data capture (CDC) technologies, such as Debezium, Kafka Connect, Kafka, or similar tooling • Experience with data privacy and compliance practices, including GDPR/CCPA data deletion or right-to-be-forgotten requests • Ability to balance platform reliability and performance work against feature and onboarding velocity • Proven cross-functional partnership skills with product and business stakeholders • Excellent communication skills and ability to present strategy, trade-offs, and progress to executive leadership • Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform data infrastructure, including BigTable and BigQuery • Familiarity with Kafka and workflow/pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow or similar • Experience building self-service tooling for data onboarding
