📋 Description

• Serve as the single point of connection translating private-product strategy, underwriting rules and market intelligence into field-ready sales execution • Bring agent and sales feedback back into product decisions • Act as the strategic and technical bridge between Private Products and Sales & Service • Understand customer and agent needs for private products • Translate stakeholder needs into profitable products • Implement successful go-to-market strategies • Work across Underwriting, Sales, Training, Marketing, Claims, Compliance, Actuarial and Technology • Establish a feedback loop using agent needs and competitor activity to inform product priorities • Maintain underwriting appetite, rate adequacy, regulatory requirements and implementation readiness

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Product Development area OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Product Development area • Crop insurance experience • Underwriting and/or Claims experience • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience in agriculture, insurance, risk management, business, finance or analytics • Strong knowledge of private crop insurance products and the federal crop insurance program • Significant crop insurance experience, ideally spanning private products, underwriting, sales strategy, product management, training or technical operations • Ability to interpret policy provisions, underwriting guidelines, rating concepts, eligibility rules and complex product interactions • Experience partnering with crop insurance agents, regional sales teams and/or distribution leaders in a field-facing environment • Experience conducting competitor and market analysis and translating insights into product positioning, product development or go-to-market actions • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 40% • No employment sponsorship offered
