📋 Description

• As Key Account Manager (m/f/*) for the Retail Channel within the Consumer Business Group (CBG) in Germany and Austria, you are responsible for managing and developing key retail customers in a highly competitive and dynamic environment. • Negotiate annual agreements on pricing, terms and promotion frameworks, and build sustainable commercial partnerships. • Manage and develop a defined portfolio of CBG retail customers, driving growth and long-term customer value. • Achieve the agreed annual financial targets and all customer-related sales KPIs. • Apply sound business acumen, including an understanding of customer P&L structures, margins, promotions ROI and MDF management. • Analyze market and customer developments and closely monitor competitors to identify growth opportunities. • Ensure excellent execution of category and brand strategies at the customer level. • Take responsibility for the operational management of assigned customers (e.g., forecast tracking, promotions evaluation, sell-in/sell-out analyses, etc.). • Work closely with cross-functional and international teams (e.g., Customer Service, Shopper Marketing, Supply Chain, Area teams).

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. • Proven experience in sales, including demonstrated success in account management within the retail or consumer goods environment (strongly preferred). • Proven experience managing retail customers and customer portfolios, combined with strong commercial acumen and a proactive work style. • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, and the ability to perform successfully in a demanding retail environment. • Strong analytical and financial skills, including understanding of customer P&L, margin management and the effectiveness of promotions. • Fluent German and English.
