• Lead the conversation around data engineering trends and best practices. • Drive 5X’s awareness & adoption with engaging content around our narrative & positioning as a full-stack data platform • Writing: Blog posts, newsletters, tutorials, etc. Videos: Podcasts, best practices, interviews, etc. • Talks: data engineering and thought leadership. Samples: data analyses, integrations, etc.1:1: discussions with influencers, helping them with 5X Engage the community & prospective customers • Events: conferences, meetups • Discussion: Slack, Discord, StackOverflow, Reddit, etc. Social: Twitter, LinkedIn and other social media • Support 5X’s product and engineering efforts by sharing what you learn while engaging with the wider data community
Requirements
• You are a data practitioner with subject matter knowledge in data engineering [preferred], data analytics, and data science. • You are a solid communicator with experience writing about, teaching, or discussing complex technical topics. • You have empathy and understanding of developer personas and can apply that to the design and development of good community experiences. • You have launched a developer product and grown a thriving community. Alternatively, you have solid intuition, passion, and empathy for technical communities, which leads us to believe you'll excel at this at 5XStrong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on communicating technical topics. • You have interfaced with Product, Marketing and Sales teams.
