• Prepare regional beat plans, allocate targets and inputs, monitor performance, and drive secondary sales • Facilitate induction and onboarding of Territory Business Managers • Provide strategic input to territory target planning and long-term vision • Follow established processes and SOPs to appoint stockists • Manage sales of Abbott products and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets • Maintain control of the regional sales operating budget • Direct sales activities to achieve short- and long-range sales volumes and projections • Implement marketing strategies and campaigns, including CMEs and camps • Execute promotional and BTL activities in the assigned territory • Plan and forecast demand for the area • Coordinate with CFAs and stockists to maintain optimum inventory and meet demand • Ensure regional supply-chain efficiency, product availability, and reduced expiry • Train, supervise, control, review, motivate, and develop Territory Business Managers • Build relationships with opinion leaders and stockists and evaluate important customers • Ensure assigned personnel have appropriate training and qualifications • Ensure Abbott product distribution across assigned towns according to company plans • Plan trade-promotion activities and monitor sales-force parameters • Lead compliance with Abbott’s Code of Business Conduct, FCPA, pharmacovigilance, statutory and regulatory requirements • Promote Abbott values and professional behavior • Manage customer situations, customer and resource attrition, order accuracy, audits, and inspections • Execute divisional and business strategies • Participate in company meetings, training, workshops, doctors meets, and other programmes
• Minimum qualification: Graduation • MBA or PG Diploma in Sales & Marketing or Business Management is a plus • Minimum 5 years of prior experience in vaccine business • Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role • Experience handling brand launches and subsequent stages • Knowledge of the assigned territory is a plus • Ability to adapt and learn quickly if unfamiliar with the assigned territory • Openness to relocation as required by Abbott • Excellent planning and operational skills • Good communication and problem-solving skills • Supervisory skills • Fluency in the local language of the assigned area or territory • Fluency in English is desirable • Good computer knowledge • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email writing • Self-motivation, result orientation, initiative, and ability to independently generate sales if required
