• Provide scientific information, present and promote the respective AbbVie products to office-based specialists and hospital specialists in compliance with § 76 of the German Medicines Act (AMG) "Duties of the pharmaceutical representative" • Implement the brand strategy • Perform market analysis and assess the regional market with respect to sales trends of own products and competitors • Identify potential opportunities and critical developments • Design, align and implement a territory plan within the in-field team • Active customer management and advisory support for physicians, pharmacists and, where applicable, healthcare organizations • Plan, organize and conduct educational events and attend regional and national conferences • Build and expand networks between hospitals, office-based physicians and other stakeholders • Gather market information and customer insights and determine customer positioning within the sales cycle • Communicate proactively with the regional manager • Complete administrative tasks accurately and within deadlines • Collaborate effectively within the in-field team and across departments • Share responsibility for achieving regional targets • Adhere to legal, regulatory, ethical and compliance requirements
• University degree in a natural science discipline • Pharmaceutical sales representative certification or required expertise according to §75 of the German Medicines Act (Arzneimittelgesetz) • Basic knowledge of GxP • Experience working within an in-field team and leading interdisciplinary projects in a matrix organization • Solid knowledge of the therapeutic area • Several years of field sales experience in the pharmaceutical industry with demonstrably above-average sales success desirable, ideally within the therapeutic area • Ability to present complex scientific topics tailored to target audiences and to discuss them with diverse customer groups • Strong persuasion skills and a presentation- and closing-oriented personality with excellent communication abilities (Challenger methodology) • Ability to continuously adapt to changing market conditions and to proactively and independently innovate work methods • High level of motivation and energy to pursue and achieve objectives • Excellent performance management skills to continuously optimize sales target achievement • Strong digital proficiency and confident use of field-force tools (Veeva CRM and CLM, XPM, WebEx, etc.) as well as MS Office • Strong analytical skills combined with creativity • Entrepreneurial spirit and a pronounced drive to succeed • Flexibility, commitment and team spirit • Very good German and good English skills
