📋 Description

• Payroll Specialist is responsible for processing and correcting payroll transactions for specific countries as assigned. • Activities include supporting pre-payroll activities, reviewing and verifying files generated internally for monthly payroll run, enforcing key payroll deadlines. • Respond to internal AbbVie stakeholders with regards to payroll data and/or payroll reports. • Lead smaller global, regional, and country specific projects and participate on global project teams. • Some travel may be required.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Finance / Accounting. • Min. 5 years of payroll operational experience in Belgian payroll. • Working knowledge of Belgian payroll, time and absence, profit sharing general rules. • Ability to apply them in practice for regular situations. • Working knowledge of Workday and experience integrating with 3rd party applications. • Strong customer orientation and a work ethic based on a strong desire to exceed expectations. • Strong written and oral communication skills, in English. • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment. • Good analytical and process diagnostic skills. • Strong written and oral communication skills in French. • Preferably some hands-on experience with projects relating to payroll implementations.
