Description

• Design solutions to accelerate the transition from Monolithic Architecture to Microservices Architecture • Develop, release, and maintain the Achievers Platform and supporting services • Collaborate with colleagues, engage in design/architecture discussions, and share ideas • Mentor junior software developers with varying experience levels • Be hands-on with our codebase and deeply involved in code reviews • Continuously integrate clean, scalable, robust, testable code

Requirements

• Bachelors in computer science or master’s in computer science or related field • 5+ years of relevant experience • Advanced/professional verbal and written English communication skills • Existing experience in Event Driven Distributed Systems, Microservices Architecture and Cloud Technologies • Confident in data modeling and database design concepts. Experience in MySQL preferred • Proficient in at least one of the server-side languages listed: Python, PHP, GO • Ability to prioritize, plan and estimate technical work • Extreme curiosity to learn and keep up with the latest emerging technologies • General Software Architecture knowledge and ability to evaluate software design tradeoffs
