Description

• Looking for a Senior Backend Java Engineer with 5+ years of production level experience in Java. • Must have knowledge in the areas of Spring and Spring extensions, like Web MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security, and SOAP and RESTful Web Services and tools like XML, JSON, and RAML, and Microservices architecture knowledge. • Need expertise in performing Unit Testing using JUnit and have experience with application servers like Tomcat, WebSphere, Weblogic, or JBoss. • Must be familiar with Enterprise Integration Patterns and frameworks like Apache Camel, and have experience developing large-scale distributed systems, working on an SaaS platform, or with Service-Oriented Architectures, and cloud technologies including AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, or Kubernetes. • The ideal candidate should also have experience with security and systems that handle sensitive data, good knowledge of SQL, and experience in the financial services industry or professional services experience is a plus. • Nice-to-have qualifications can include experience working with Backbase Platform, FinTech, Agile methodology like Scrum and Kanban, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration (CI), Web Application Security (OWASP) and best practices for writing secure code, persistence frameworks like Hibernate, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure, and databases like MySQL, Postgres, Oracle, or NoSQL.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field is required. • Applicant must possess the ability to handle working on multiple projects or tasks while keeping them all under control. • The candidate should have the ability to transform business requirements into technical architecture. • Should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be passionate about technology, and possess the ability to learn fast. • Need to understand how Agile values add to the team's success and apply them in their work. • Must be a consultant; comfortable interacting with clients to solve their business challenges and have good teamwork skills complemented by experience performing peer code review.
