β’ This position is primarily responsible for growing sales in the Region. β’ Aesop Wholesale Sales Representatives carry out the mission and goals of the Sales and the National Sales Managers to achieve the desired outcomes. β’ Sells autos, parts and accessories to wholesale parts customers and actively solicits wholesale accounts. β’ Builds relationships with existing and new customers to continue to create trust. β’ Represents the company professionally and ethically possessing an elevated level of integrity. β’ Serves as a relationship manager with all customers. β’ Maintains and builds relationships with new and existing accounts. β’ Provides pricing, product information, lead time information, and updates to customers, as necessary. β’ Calls on automotive wholesale distributors, contractors, and private label partners in sales territory through virtual technology, and phone calls. β’ Manages existing orders regularly to minimize any issues that may negatively affect the customer experience. β’ Reports all communication, verbal and written, to the Sales Manager daily.
β’ Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales to large customer groups or wholesalers. β’ High school diploma or GED is required. β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills are required with a commitment to act with an elevated level of professionalism during all transactions both internally and externally. β’ Ability to read, write and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos. β’ Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. β’ Reacts well and positively under pressure while showing courage and taking action. β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Word with the aptitude to learn new systems and software. β’ Operates office equipment, such as fax machines, copiers, phone systems, and cell phones. β’ Honesty/Integrity. Do not cut corners ethically, always speaking plainly and truthfully. β’ Must be able to work collaboratively across functions. β’ Must demonstrate strong attention to detail and strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
