Description

• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, and Operations teams to set and execute Consumer ML and Search platform strategy • Recruit and hire senior engineers • Coach, develop, retain, and provide feedback to team members • Organize the Consumer Search and ML team to fulfill its mandate • Establish OKRs and critical metrics to set the engineering team's direction and measure its success • Create a long-term technical roadmap • Build a strong engineering culture around innovation, accountability, empathy, and execution

Requirements

• Passionate about Affirm's Mission: 'Deliver Honest Financial Products that improve lives' • Solid engineering fundamentals and real-world experience building scalable engineering and ML solutions • Enjoys cross-team collaboration especially with product managers and business partners • Lead with humility and self-awareness needed to navigate challenging situations • Cares about the details in the user experience • 3+ years managing high performing engineering teams
