Description

• Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. • Looking for a highly motivated Staff Software Engineer in the Furnishing Platform team to build scalable systems and data pipelines for consumer credit reporting. • Partner closely with Product, Compliance, Servicing, and Credit teams to design reporting systems for accurate and timely data to Consumer Reporting Agencies. • Enable scaling of products to 10x and beyond through building world-class systems for honest financial products. • Join in building a beloved, lasting financial services brand centered on honesty and trust.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a software engineer • Drive to change consumer financial services for the better • Fluency in back end development with Python • Prior experience in designing, building, launching, and maintaining consumer scale products. • Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills • Knowledge of Python, Spark, Airflow, AWS, and Snowflake is a plus • Knowledge of basic accounting principles is a plus
