• Contribute to and evolve a scalable and reliable distributed web application • Implement efficient data storage and retrieval strategies • Design solutions with high availability and fault tolerance in mind • Strive for quality and efficiency in all phases of the development lifecycle • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company • Identify bottlenecks and proposal solutions that can drive the company forward

Requirements

• 10+ years of backend experience working on large-scale distributed web applications • Capable of working on a stateful and event-driven client-side application • Understands the nuances of API design with an API-first mindset • Contextual insight around shifting QA and Security to the left • Comfortable with event-driven and service-oriented architectures • Experience driving complex architectural transformation from start to finish • Deep understanding of cloud-based services from AWS, GCP, Azure, etc. • Experience leading projects while balancing both business and technical constraints
