Description

• As a Team Lead, you will be responsible for the design, development, deployment and operation of critical features that add customer value on top of Voice, maintaining operational excellence • Drive the design and iterative execution of the roadmap • Work on the cost/value estimation to define priority and sequence blocks in the roadmap • Coordinate kickoffs, brainstorming, feature specifications and prototyping between designers and engineers • Promote a Devops mindset and ensure teams architect and build towards quality, continuous iteration, experimentation, efficiency and operational excellence • Ensure scrum ceremonies involve relevant stakeholders and the team takes actions to improve delivery • Teach and mentor engineers in technical and non-technical growth and learning • Coordinate with Engineering Leadership to roll out engineering initiatives • Be active in the technology community, contribute to Aircall’s reputation, and find great candidates to grow the team

Requirements

• 8+ years experience in Software development preferably 5+ years in Node.js & typescript, including minimum 2 years in similar team lead positions • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field • Solid experience in building & operating real-time, cloud-based and scalable architecture (preferably AWS) • Experience defining system architectures and exploring technical feasibility trade-offs • Track record of successfully leading, delivering, and evolving large technical projects • Achieving results, solving difficult technical challenges, and anticipating technical problems • Successfully collaborate and communicate across teams to drive technical projects to completion • Mentor engineers in technical and non-technical growth and learning • Experience in project and delivery management within an agile organization with a DevOps culture • Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, ownership and people management skills • Fluency in English, both written and spoken
