• Sell consultatively and make recommendations to prospects/clients of the various solutions the company offers for their accounts. • Proactively establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments. • Answer all incoming phone calls and emails (leads) that are directed to the sales queue. • Effectively work with the Regional Sales Offices as a team to grow the market in sales, demand, and awareness of Allegion’s entire portfolio. • Participate and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients. • Provide presentations and sales training for channel partners and end users. • Provide prospect/customer with product requirements and insure there is a full understanding of the parameters regarding such programs. • Understand and support sales policies and procedures to provide proper and effective treatment to all customers. • Maintain contact with all Partner Accounts to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and receive and resolve customer complaints and difficulties in a timely manner. • Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities in Allegion’s CRM. • Maintain and develop database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, email, and networking. • Meet or exceed sales goals as determined by the company.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred • 2+ years inside sales, telemarketing, or customer service experience desired • Strong presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities • Strong customer focus and an ability to establish and develop strong relationships with customers • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Windows environment • Knowledge of Salesforce.com and/or basic CRM systems • A leader as well as a team player • Must be self-motivated, entrepreneurial and be able to work with little supervision • Must be able to work in a remote office setting • Candidate must want to win and succeed, grow professionally and personally to reach their greatest potential • Electronic Access Control knowledge a plus!
