Description
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams at Amber Labs to understand and update demand forecast models based on audit actions • Utilise expertise in time series forecasting to enhance the accuracy and reliability of forecasting models • Leverage advanced analytics techniques, including but not limited to XG Boost and Neural Networks, to optimize predictive modeling • Stay current with industry best practices and implement innovative approaches to improve forecasting methodologies
Requirements
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline • Proven experience in time series forecasting is a minimum requirement • Demonstrated expertise in demand forecasting and predictive analytics • Familiarity with advanced machine learning techniques, including XG Boost and Neural Networks • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail • Recent project experience in time series forecasting is essential • Previous exposure to demand forecasting and predictive analytics methodologies • Proficiency in utilizing advanced analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R) • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders • Experience in the energy or utility sector is desirable but not mandatory • A passion for staying abreast of emerging trends and advancements in data science and analytics
