📋 Description
• Lead a pod of roughly 8 to 15 billing associates and own their production targets and quality results • Manage coverage schedules, PTO, and capacity so client queues stay staffed, in partnership with Ops • Give regular, direct feedback and coaching, run 1:1s, and handle performance management under our attendance and production policies • Serve as the first escalation point for complex claims and decide what to route to billing managers or the client • Onboard and train new billing associates and reinforce SOPs and QA standards • Partner with QA on coaching themes and with Ops on right-staffing • Maintain your own claim production at a high standard
🎯 Requirements
• 4+ years in charge entry, payment posting, AR follow-up, or denial management with a proven record of high production and quality as an individual contributor • Experience leading or mentoring billers, whether formally or informally • Strong communication skills and the ability to give direct, constructive feedback • Organized and able to manage schedules, coverage, and competing priorities • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, AI-assisted environment where processes change • Able to work US hours (9am to 6pm ET)
