📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of predictive models used for business decision-making. • Serve as a technical reference from design through production monitoring, ensuring regulatory compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency. • Develop predictive models focused on Market Supervision (investment funds, public offerings, distribution and trading of investment products); • Own the full pipeline: data collection, feature engineering, model selection, backtesting, stress testing, and calibration; • Implement models in production following MLOps best practices: versioning, retraining, monitoring, and performance management; • Prepare technical documentation and quantify model impact; • Translate technical results for other business teams; • Research and prototype new techniques: time series, deep learning, and interpretable/explainable models.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields. • 7+ years in predictive modeling within the financial sector: banks, asset managers, fintechs, insurers • Proficiency in programming languages: Python, R, SQL, etc. • Expertise in machine learning: tree-based methods, neural networks, time series, cross-validation; • Experience in risk modeling: provisioning, VaR/Expected Shortfall • Knowledge of model governance and regulation: BCB (Central Bank of Brazil) and CVM (Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission) • Track record of production models with monitoring and revalidation. • Statistical rigor combined with business pragmatism • Experience with Databricks.
