📋 Description

• Support project teams in the economic assessment of construction projects • Jointly develop the claims management process together with senior management • Prepare and process contract change requests and claims • Evaluate contractual deviations and prepare claims submissions • Analyze bills of quantities (BOQ), contracts and tender documentation • Identify and assess economic claim potentials during project execution • Prepare disruption notices (notices of hindrance) and other contract-related correspondence • Provide economic assessment of claims and support price determination • Coordinate with project managers, site managers and clients • Support claims negotiations and, prospectively, conduct negotiations independently • Actively contribute to and optimize the company’s claims processes

🎯 Requirements

• Completed degree in construction-related field, e.g., Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering with focus on construction; alternatively further training as a construction technician or comparable technical qualification • Technical understanding of construction workflows and interest in commercial/financial aspects • Knowledge of VOB/B and an understanding of contractual relationships • Proficient user of MS Office • Fluent German for effective internal and external communication • Nice to have: Initial professional experience in building construction • Nice to have: Experience in estimating, site management, construction accounting or claims management • Nice to have: Experience working with bills of quantities (Leistungsverzeichnisse) • Nice to have: Strong negotiation skills when dealing with clients
