📋 Description

• Independently structure financing and grant-funding strategies for technology and infrastructure projects • Support innovative, sustainable business models and complex funding programs from conception through implementation • Prepare and validate integrated financial models, including CAPEX/OPEX, cash flow analyses, KPIs, and scenario analyses • Evaluate business models at early TRLs, taking technological, economic, and regulatory factors into account • Manage and evaluate market, competitive, and technology research • Identify, assess, and structure complex infrastructure funding programs • Develop and manage funding concepts and application documents • Act as a point of contact for project sponsors, ministries, and regional funding agencies • Prepare eligible cost structures • Design and implement tailored financing solutions • Conduct and optimize bankability analyses • Independently manage financing and grant-funding processes through successful completion • Prepare for and support discussions with banks, funding agencies, venture debt providers, and impact investors • Prepare decision papers, presentations, and information memoranda for top management and external stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• At least 2–4 years of relevant professional experience in investment banking, corporate finance, M&A or infrastructure consulting, or complex grant-funding management • Completed degree in business, industrial engineering, sustainability management, or a comparable qualification • Strong numerical aptitude and a solid understanding of complex project structures • Extensive, hands-on experience in financial modeling with Excel • Confident stakeholder management with banks, ministries, public authorities, and investors • Ability to manage projects independently • Structured working style and high level of self-motivation • Excellent analytical skills • Interest in specialized topics related to the energy and climate transition • Fluent German, including strong negotiation skills • Very good English skills
