📋 Description
• Analyze title insurance risks, underwriting issues, and regulatory concerns • Provide underwriting solutions to agents, sales team, and title examiners in accordance with Westcor company guidelines as well as local, state and federal law • Handle residential as well as commercial transactions underwriting • Present training seminars to educate title agents and production staff (both online and in person) • Provide outstanding customer service while making sound underwriting decisions • Analyze and respond to indemnity requests • Call on existing Westcor agents and help increase wallet share. Identify new business opportunities through prospecting • Travel with sales staff, managers or other underwriters for agent visits throughout the states
🎯 Requirements
• J.D. degree • Minimum 3 years of experience concentrated in North Carolina real property and title insurance • Must be a member in good standing with the North Carolina Bar • Strong knowledge of NC, SC, and Georgia real property law and the title insurance industry
