Description
• Write functional and design specifications • Implement features in EOS software • Write test plan specifications and implement automated test programs • Debug and fix problems • Work on team projects • Support customer networks • Mentor new engineers • Review and contribute to specifications and implementations • Create and update implementation schedule
Requirements
• BS or MS in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering, or Ph.D. in Computer Science/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering • 8 years experience with BS, 6 years experience with MS, or 3 years experience with Ph.D. • Knowledge of C, C++, and/or python • Knowledge of UNIX or Linux • Understanding of L2/L3 networking • Ability to utilize and test packet forwarding engine and software libraries • Familiarity with IP routing protocols and Layer 2 features • Experience with distributed systems and software engineering principles • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills • Ability to work independently and in a team
Benefits
