Description

• Lead compliance efforts to ensure adherence to HIPAA, FERPA, PCI, SOC-II, and other relevant regulations • Support the sales team by contributing to RFP responses, highlighting our compliance and security measures • Guide and train development teams in implementing best practices for secure coding and development • Facilitate the process of obtaining and maintaining certifications for various regulatory standards • Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with legal and corporate policies • Collaborate with IT and cybersecurity teams to strategize and enhance security protocols

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Compliance Officer, Security Analyst, or similar role in the software industry • Strong understanding of compliance laws and regulations related to HIPAA, FERPA, PCI, SOC-II • Experience with secure software development lifecycle practices • Ability to work collaboratively across various departments to foster a compliance and security-focused culture • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable
