Description

• Building and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure • Collaborating with engineering teams to solve operational problems and implement solutions • Providing DevOps domain expertise for existing projects and new initiatives • Setting up and maintaining test environments for manual and automated testing • Conducting and analyzing results of vulnerability scanning and penetration testing • Planning and performing ongoing routine application maintenance tasks • Participating in on-call rotations for monitoring and alerting • Identifying cost-saving opportunities within our infrastructure

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, and/or automation engineering • Strong understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS • Experience with running and managing systems and services on a cloud platform (AWS) • Strong understanding of database technologies such as MongoDB • Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes & Linux Systems • Knowledge of Terraform and Packer • Experience deploying cloud service, monitoring, alerting, and handling critical issues • Agile development experience • Works well in a team environment, as well as independently • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving • Exceptional organizational and time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time • The ability to work without close supervision and thrive in an autonomous working environment that allows for high levels of freedom • Strong communication and collaboration skills • Technical curiosity and desire for continuous learning
