• Establish and maintain business relationships with customers throughout the British Columbia territory. • Uncover and grow new sales opportunities and manage dealer accounts. • Travel throughout the territory, including overnight travel, to support dealers and customers. • Regular reporting to the VP of Sales on territory activities and results. • Build strong rapport with dealer community using communication, negotiation, and self-management skills. • Relocate to the territory when required.
• Understand and practice the Challengers Sales Model. • Have an assertive approach to sales and management of accounts. • Knowledge & understanding of how buying groups operate and function. • Proven record of sales achievement and at least 3 years of direct dealer sales experience. • Technical aptitude and mechanically inclined. • Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (including intermediate level Excel). • Preference for experience in Automotive, Agricultural, Tool Retailer, Industrial, Lawn & Garden, Lumber/DIY Centers industries.
